For nearly 15 years, starting in 1998, I developed and maintained a Windows PC based DBA and developer tool for the Oracle RDBMS. I ceased working on it around 2012, and let the domain expire finally in 2019. Over the years I had amassed tens of thousands of lines of code. It was compatible with the scripting that SQL*Plus supported, was multithreaded and multi document, and offered a direct and unfiltered view into the Oracle database for administration and development. I used it personally at a number of jobs, and it was used in a number of industries and companies. But, times change, the development language became archaic, and other cross platform DB tools emerged. It was time to let Apollo Pro drift away into the digital afterlife.
